Steven Marshall Peele

Steven Marshall Peele, 61, passed away on February 15, 2026. A man of deep kindness and unwavering service, Steven left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Born on October 29, 1964, in Danville, VA, to the late James Ormand Peele and Gloria Marshall Peele, Steven grew up with a spirit of adventure and a heart for others. He honorably served his country as a Green Beret in the United States Army, a testament to his strength and dedication. Following his military service, he built a career as a skilled glass fabricator for Corning.

Beyond his professional life, Steven was known for his love of music and his joy in spending time with friends. He was the kind of person who truly cared for everyone he encountered, always offering a warm presence to those around him.

He is survived by:

Children: Stormy Peele and Caleb Peele (Mackenna).

Grandchildren: Camden Gentry, Kaden, Nathan, Kelly, Kulture, and Samaura, as well as the anticipated arrival of his future grandson, Kiowa.

Extended Family: His uncle, Dennis Booth; cousins, Dennie Booth (PJ) and Michael Adkins (Lynn).

Special Friend: Sondra Bloomer.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his generosity and spirit
